CAMPAIGN SPENDING LIMITS: The next generation of campaign reform?

Hear the down and dirty about the Vermont spending limits law, and the impact it could have on public finance issues nationwide. On July 27, NVRI's Brenda Wright will debate James Bopp, who represents the plaintiffs in our Vermont work. Adam Lioz from PIRG will debate John Lott of the American Enterprise Institute. And Chellie Pingreee of Common Cause will provide some background on this issue. The attached flier provides more information about the forum, which will be held at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington. More details are forthcoming, but mark your calendar now for what will surely be an engaging forum.
