For Boston-area folks, join us on Monday the 25th at Lesley University to hear Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. on "Securing the Right to Vote as a Citizenship Right." In the midst of a nationwide discussion about the right to vote, and the critical need for Congress to reauthorize the Voting Rights Act, Jackson has sponsored legislation that would amend the U.S.

Constitution to include a fundamental right to vote. The measure has over 50 co-sponsors in the House. The event is at 5 pm in the Marran Theater at Lesley, which is co-sponsoring the event with NVRI. For more information, click here.
